The family portal is where parents see their child's day, sign forms, report absences, keep their details up to date and pay. It works in any phone browser: there's no app to download.
Inviting a parent
Open the family, find the parent under Parents and guardians, and click Invite to family portal. They need an email address. They get an email to choose a password.
If they lose the email, click Send portal invitation again. To stop someone using the portal, use Remove portal access.
What parents see
- their children's daily reports and photos (respecting photo consent)
- forms to sign, and signed copies to download
- absences they can report ahead of time
- messages from the centre
- their own contact details, which they can update (you're told when they do)
- Billing: invoices, payments, statements, year-end tax receipts, and ways to pay
Parents only ever see their own family.
