Government funding on invoices

Your province's fee reduction and subsidy (in BC, CCFRI and the Affordable Child Care Benefit).

Clovernest takes your province's funding off each family's invoice, so families see exactly what they owe, and totals it for your monthly claim.

In BC these are the CCFRI fee reduction and the Affordable Child Care Benefit (when it's paid to the centre). Other provinces use their own programs, such as Ontario's CWELCC.

Setting each child's funding

Open the child, click Edit, and under Fees enter:

  • the monthly fee reduction for the child (e.g. CCFRI), and
  • the monthly subsidy the centre receives for them, if any.

On the invoice

Each invoice shows the full fee, then the reduction and subsidy as separate lines, then Family owes. Part months are prorated if you charge part months by scheduled days.

Your monthly claim

Records → Reports → Billing: government funding totals every child's reduction and subsidy for the month, ready for your claim. You can print it or download a CSV.
