Go to Settings → Kiosks and QR codes.
A tablet kiosk
Click New tablet kiosk. Clovernest gives you a private link: open it on the tablet at your door and leave it there. Parents tap their child and enter their own kiosk PIN.
The link is shown once, so open it on the tablet straight away. If a tablet is lost or replaced, use New link and the old link stops working at once, or Turn off to stop the kiosk.
A door QR code
Click New door QR code for a poster parents scan with their own phone. Because anyone can see a printed code, it only works:
- near the centre (you set how many metres), and
- during opening hours (the days and times you set).
Print the poster and put it by the door.
Parents' PINs
Each parent has their own PIN. Open the family, find the parent under Parents and guardians, and click Kiosk PIN (or New kiosk PIN to reset it).
Staff get a notice each time a parent checks a child in or out, and parents can get a receipt by email or text.
